Cody Alexander Ramming

&#55356;� In Loving Memory of Cody Alexander Ramming March 15, 1994 – February 13, 2025 Cody Alexander Ramming was born on March 15, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, to Hunie Townsend and Kenneth Ramming. His untimely passing on February 13, 2025, has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Cody began his educational journey at Highland Village Elementary, where he formed lifelong bonds with teachers and staff. It truly took a village to nurture Cody, and the time, energy, and love poured into him by that community helped shape the person he became. He continued his education at Briarhill Middle School and graduated from Edward S. Marcus High School in 2012. Cody later attended North Central Texas College, earned Windows certifications, and completed the electrician program at ForgeNow. From a young age, Cody was drawn to electronics and technology. That passion led him to a career in information technology, and for the past three years, he also held an electrician apprentice license. He was smart, clever, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Above all, Cody loved deeply and fiercely. He never met an animal he didn’t like, and his beloved four-legged siblings, Cassius and Ruby Lucille, brought him immense joy. Cody is survived by his mother, Hunie (Lewisville, TX); father, Kenneth (Rush Springs, OK); Granny Shirley Townsend (Muskogee, OK); his birthday twin and Uncle Jerry W. Townsend; Aunt Alice (Fort Gibson, OK); cousin Sarah Townsend (Oklahoma City, OK); Uncle Steven Townsend, Aunts Donna Foster and Sherri Martin (Duncan, OK); cousins Brittney Clayton, Rachael Ramming, Destiny Ramming, Joshua Moynihan, and their families. He also leaves behind countless friends including those from his online gaming community. His Papa Jerry C. Townsend joined him on March 6, 2025. We pray they have found peace together. He was preceded in death by his Grandma Edith Nalley, cousin Kenneth Nalley, Great-Grandparents Bobby and Geneva Kizzia, and Great-Aunt Crettia Prosser. A celebration of Cody’s life will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound, TX. A few of his favorite things will be served. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Cody’s honor to Alphasar.org, a Texas-based search and rescue organization that trains rescue dogs to find missing persons, including those with autism, dementia, or lost during storms.
