Vicky Faye Moss

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicky Moss on June 7, 2024, at the age of 74. Vicky departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 22,1949 in Odessa, TX, Vicky was a beacon of kindness and strength. She attended Austin High School in El Paso, TX. Tommy and Vicky eloped and married in Ada, Oklahoma on Jan 26, 1968. They went on to have 2 children and move throughout the state of Texas following Tommy’s coaching jobs. Before her retirement she spent her final working years at EPISD in several facets. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and community, touching countless lives with her generosity and compassion. A devoted grandmother, mother, wife, dog lover, and friend, Vicky's warmth and laughter were cherished by all who knew her. Vicky had a passion for cooking, creating delicious meals that brought joy and comfort to her loved ones. Her kitchen was always a place of warmth, filled with the aroma of her culinary delights and the sound of laughter. Vicky also had a deep love for all animals, caring for them with the same devotion and kindness she showed to people. Her home was a sanctuary for many furry friends over the years. She was an avid lover of the arts, spending much of her early years painting and sharing with the world her artistic imagination. Vicky is preceded in death by her loving husband Tommy, and parents William and Barbara Howse. Vicky is survived by her beloved children, Christy Moss, her fiancé Michael Polk and Cindy Joffrion, her spouse Christopher Joffrion, and her treasured grandchildren, Hunter and Colton Joffrion. She also leaves behind her brothers Roger Howse, his wife Susan Howse, her brother Steve Howse and his wife Ellen Howse. While leaving behind immediate family she also leaves behind numerous friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her presence. A celebration of Vicky's life will be held on July 13, 2024 at 10am at Dalton and Son Funeral Home 1550 N Stemmons Freeway Lewisville, TX 75067. Flowers may be sent there for the service. Donations can also be made to Arbor Day Foundation: Tree Planting Nonprofit, in honor of Vicky's love for nature. In El Paso, Tx there will be a graveside celebration on November 29th at 11AM at Memory Gardens 4900 McNutt RD Santa Teresa, NM. Vicky's legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
